Bring baby on the screen to share some special time with friends or other parents - or have some time to yourself if baby's napping! Either way, this event has been brought back for lockdown to bring parents together while they cannot socialise in person. Participants are welcome to stay on and chat after the quiz.
Usually running 'Bring Your Baby' Pub Quizzes and 'Bring Your Baby' Guided London Walks in normal times, mum of 3-year-old Evan, Lucy Madison, will bring you 5 live and entirely original rounds (her partner writes them from scratch) each week that you can play on your own, with people in your own household, or by teaming up with people in other households - it's up to you! All players will be on mute during the quiz, so your answers won't be heard while you discuss in person or with other households over another device.
Each week has the following rounds, which will have different themes and questions each week:
- PICTURE ROUND (pictures shown on your screen via Zoom screen share
- GENERAL KNOWLEDGE ROUND
- MUSIC ROUND (music played through your speakers via Zoom screen share - you do not need to do anything)
- CONNECTION ROUND
- THEMED ROUND - sometimes topical!
- Book here for the week you want to play.
- Please book one ticket per household (or Zoom user), not per team. This reflects the limited number of participants that can be hosted in my Zoom room on the package I pay for.
- No equipment needed apart from Zoom. Just use scrap paper to write down your answers.
- If playing with people in other households, discuss answers with them via another device at the same time.
- Pictures for the picture round will be shown on your screens, and music for the music round played through your speakers. After all rounds, pictures, songs and questions can be repeated - I also always show the questions on screen after each round for you to re-read them.
- All rounds will be explained if needed and there are no silly questions. All baby brains welcome!
- The winner is found at the end of the quiz by sharing scores on chat at exactly the same time so no-one can be tempted to change their score!
- Please feel free to feed, change and tend to babies during the quiz - everyone is in the same boat.
Any questions, or indeed to book me for a private quiz party, email me at Lucy@bringyourbaby.org
Real life 'Bring Your Baby' quizzes in pubs will be back as soon as we are able!
I will publish frequently asked questions as they arise.
Following the UK government's announcement on 4th January 2021 of a new national lockdown until at least 15th February 2021, Bring Your Baby Guided London Walks are on hold. I will be able to review the situation after this time.
As this is another blow for my guided walks business, which has not been able to run since early December, I am hoping that ticket holders are able to wait to use their ticket once walks are allowed to be back up and running.. All walks will get a new reschedule date once we know more.
I am not rescheduling dates at this time, as this has only been confusing for everyone the several times since December I've had to do this (owing to the and the frequent changes to restrictions).
Walks will be reviewed after the next government review of lockdown restrictions on February 15th 2021. If we get the green light, I will start adding and rescheduling walks. If we remain under lockdown, I'm afraid we will have to wait a little longer...
Thank you to everyone for their understanding. I hope we can be dancing with the daffodils soon.
In the meantime, my fun parent socials, Bring Your Baby Pub Quiz at Home, make a return for lockdown from Saturday 15th January! Click here to find out more!
When lockdown began, I started running 'The Big Movie Quiz' via Zoom on a Tuesday evening for people missing out on their regular pub quiz. These have been so enjoyable and popular that they continue to take place EVERY TUESDAY AT 8PM!

"We always enjoy this quiz and it’s great for doing with friends or for making new ones. Quiz questions are meticulously thought out and the whole thing is delivered with warmth and fun. Perfect selection of toys provided in the middle of the room which always keeps my little one well occupied."
"Had the BEST time at this quiz. Lucy, the host had thought of everything with extra touches thrown in (choccies on table!). She constantly checked that babies and adults were happy with sound levels and breaks were plotted in to help the afternoon be stress free. We came last in the quiz and I still loved it- so that speaks volumes for how good it was. For those of us who miss doing the more grown up stuff!"
"Such a fun thing to do with babes and friends! Quiz get the cogs turning and all at a pace for babies to be kept happy. I took my little one along when he was 5 weeks old and then again at 4 months and he and me have a very good time. Looking forward to the next one!"
"Really fun and engaging activity - great way to keep your brain ticking while on maternity leave!"
"Always love this event, great fun and baby and toddler friendly."
"We had a great time at the quiz - it was nice to have chance to do something we used to enjoy before becoming parents, without getting judged for taking your baby to the pub! A great idea, we will definitely go again!"
